### Job overview

The post holder will work on the ward reception, assisting with the smooth and efficient running of the reception area.  They will meet and greet patients, answer patient queries and liaise on their behalf on issues such as transport and interpreting services.  Where necessary the post holder will book patients in and out using the hospital administration system, Care Records Service (CRS), ensuring confidentiality of all patient information book follow up appointments where necessary provide accurate, timely information to assist Clinicians and nursing staff . Undertake other duties including answering the telephone to both internal and external callers, sending appointments to patients, booking transport, assisting nurse in charge with discharge plans for patients.

This post is a job share and you will be expected to work Thursday and Friday 9am-5pm.
