### Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work within our dermatology service, supporting clinicians during minor surgery clinics and contributing to excellent patient outcomes throughout the patient journey.

### Main duties of the job

As a Dermatology Practitioner, you'll play a key role in the safe and effective delivery of patient care by: Supporting clinicians during dermatology and minor operations clinics Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring equipment is clean, safe and ready for use Acting as a chaperone during examinations and procedures Assisting with patient assessments, care delivery and discharge processes Providing patients with clear post-procedure advice and information Handling and preparing histology samples in accordance with procedures Supporting infection prevention and control standards Ensuring a positive, professional and compassionate patient experience at all times
