### Job responsibilities

Join our team at Rivers Hospital as a Deputy Ward Manager. You will provide exceptional clinical care to surgical patients, working closely with a dedicated team and reporting to the Ward Manager.

Duties Include

- Deputise for the manager and lead the ward team.
- Manage daily operations and staff rostering.
- Lead Clinical Governance and audits.
- Investigate ward-related incidents/complaints.
- Act as patient advocate.
- Participate in care delivery as a role model.
- Optimize consumables and stock levels.
- Liaise with Maintenance for equipment service dates.
- Participate in on-call and weekend work.

What you'll bring:

- NMC registration
- Immediate Life Support
- AIMs
- ENB 998 or equivalent
- Strong clinical background
- Experience with external stakeholders
