### Job overview

The Deputy Director of Performance and Insights will play a key role in delivering outstanding care across St George’s, Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals and Health Group (gesh). The role is responsible for leading the Group’s performance management framework, regulatory assurance processes, and performance reporting.

The post holder will oversee the development of reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators across operational performance, quality, safety, activity, and workforce. Working closely with operational, transformation, and business intelligence teams, they will ensure reporting provides meaningful insight into current and future performance.

The role includes interpreting national guidance and targets, supporting effective organisational policies and processes, leading aspects of the annual planning cycle and Quality Management System deployment, and ensuring accurate performance data submissions, including SitReps. The post holder will deputise for the Group Director of Performance and PMO when required, line manage staff, and provide leadership and stakeholder engagement to support improvement across gesh.

### Experience

- Experiencing from working at a senior-level in performance reporting and management in the NHS
- Experience developing and implementing performance management frameworks aligned to organisational goals

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Educated to Master’s level or demonstrable equivalent experience and competencies in relevant or similar roles.
- Evidence of continued professional development
