The Dental Nurse Team Leader is responsible for the day to day running of all Dental services and compliance for either dental surgeries or Mobile Dental Units. They also hold responsibility for the appraisal and supervision of dental nurses and administrator/reception staff. The post holder will be required to provide chair side assistance to clinicians as required. ### Main duties of the job - Keeping the people who use our services as safe as possible through the use of sound clinical skills and effective risk assessments - Ensuring the best possible clinical outcomes by using up-to-date skills and adhering to evidence-based policies and procedures - Ensuring the people using our services have a good experience by respecting, empowering and working in partnership with people throughout the care planning process - Assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of holistic care linked to packages of prescribed care - The development of integrated care programmes in partnership with the patient - To support in the supervision and development of all junior staff including Health Care Support Workers and Students - To actively work as a member of the multi-professional team to provide high quality care to patients - To undertake a range of competent clinical and non clinical processes to support the outcomes of patient care Please note, this vacancy does not meet the criteria for skilled worker sponsorship and therefore, we are unable to accept applications from candidates that cannot provide documentary evidence of right to work in the United Kingdom. ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities As a community Trust, many of our roles require individuals to be able to drive to perform their duties.
