### Job summary

As a Customer Service Advisor, youll play a vital role in supporting patients by delivering exceptional customer service over the phone. Handling both inbound and outbound calls, youll help patients with enquiries, encourage attendance at screening appointments, and provide clear, accurate information about diabetic eye care. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys speaking to people, solving problems, and making a positive difference to patient experience.

### Main duties of the job

Handle inbound and outbound calls from patients regarding their diabetic eye screening Address customer concerns, troubleshoot problems, and provide solutions in a timely and professional manner. Liaise with patients to encourage attendance Accurately document patient interactions, feedback, and follow-up actions where required Strive to meet performance targets to enhance personal development Uphold a professional, friendly, and empathetic attitude when interacting with patients and colleagues Maintain and ensure observation of robust quality assurance measures to meet national standards.

### Job responsibilities

Customer Service Advisor

Location: Universal House, Erf Way, Middlewich Salary: £24,852.66 Hours: Fulltime | 8hour shifts between 8am8pm (on a rota basis), Monday to Friday, plus 1 Saturday per month (8am12pm).

To support efficiency and improve user experience, we have developed our own bespoke software that allows us to adapt quickly to the needs of both patients and colleagues.

As a Customer Service Advisor, youll play a vital role in supporting patients by delivering exceptional customer service over the phone. Handling both inbound and outbound calls, youll help patients with enquiries, encourage attendance at screening appointments, and provide clear, accurate information about diabetic eye care.

- Handle inbound and outbound calls relating to diabetic eye screening
- Address patient queries and concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Encourage and support patients to attend screening appointments
- Accurately record patient interactions, feedback and any followup actions
- Work towards performance targets to support personal development
