Working within the CT and MR department at the FGH provides excellent opportunities to gain experience in a wide range of CT and MR imaging procedures including trauma, MSK, neurological, vascular, paediatrics and oncology. The department is equipped with a brand new GE Revolution 256 slice scanner installed in April 2026, a GE 16 slice SPECT scanner, a Siemens Aera 1.5T MR scanner and the new Siemens Altea 1.5T installed in 2025 undertaking a wide range of MR imaging ### Main duties of the job Furness General Hospital is on the doorstep to the Lake District, the Trust is set in some of the most remarkable surroundings in the UK, facilitating an abundance of outdoor activities.  There are many OFSTED "Good" and "Outstanding" Primary and Secondary schools near by.
