The Computed Tomography (CT) Department operates five scanners at the main hospital site, including a Siemens Somatom Drive (dual source), Edge+, two Siemens X.cite scanners and a GE Optima 660. The Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) houses four Canon CT scanners: one Aquilion ONE PRISM and three Aquilion Prime SP scanners, providing high‑quality imaging services closer to the community. As a Band 7 Deputy Lead CT Radiographer, you will work within the CT leadership team to support the operational management, development and delivery of a high-quality, patient-centred imaging service. You will play a key role in workforce leadership, including staff supervision, rota coordination and performance management, while promoting a positive team culture aligned with Trust PRIDE values. The role includes direct line management responsibilities, supporting staff through appraisal, supervision, training and development, while fostering a positive team culture aligned with Trust PRIDE values. The post holder will maintain a strong clinical presence, acting as an expert practitioner and role model, ensuring high standards of radiographic practice, patient care, and compliance with professional, regulatory and Trust requirements, including IR(ME)R and clinical governance processes. The role also involves contributing to service improvement, audit, quality assurance and the implementation of new ways of working, supporting the ongoing development and modernisation of the CT service.
