### Job summary

The Corporate PA will provide an efficient and effective administrative and corporate support service within the Executive Office, contributing to the smooth day to day running of corporate and executive functions.

The post holder will support senior colleagues by coordinating diaries, meetings, correspondence and records, ensuring that administrative processes are followed accurately and in a timely manner. The role requires good organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work confidently within established procedures in a busy NHS environment.

### Main duties of the job

Responsible for the smooth running of Exec Directors office providing an efficient and effective PA role and utilising a high degree of initiative, diplomacy, organisational ability and flexibility to resolve day to day issues

We have a centre for planned care in Bishop Auckland and provide care from community hospitals in Chester-le-Street, Shotley Bridge, Barnard Castle, Sedgefield and Weardale as well as over 80 other community based settings and providing care in patients' homes.

### Job responsibilities

Support and provide PA support to senior Executive Directors and wider colleagues within the Chief Executive Team. The role encompasses diary management, setting up of meetings both internal and external ensuring agendas and papers are prepared well in advance. When required do AI minutes and action logs using CoPilot. Dealing with incoming calls from both internal colleagues and external individuals, redirecting and escalting as appropriate

### Experience

**Essential**

- Experience of working in a busy office or administrative environment
- Experience supporting meetings, diaries or administrative processes
- Experience maintaining accurate records and handling confidential information

**Desirable**

- Experience working in the NHS or public sector
- Experience supporting senior managers or corporate services

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent, or equivalent experience in an administrative / corporate support role.

### Special Requirments

**Essential**

- The role requires regular travel between sites, therefore, a full UK Driving License and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential

### Special Skills and Knowledge

- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to follow procedures and work to deadlines
- Ability to organise own workload and prioritise, often under pressure
- Accurate minute-taking / note-taking skills, use of CoPilot would be an advantage
- Competent IT skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

- Knowledge of data protection and Caldicott Principles and demonstrate understanding of confidentiality and the associated legal and policy requirements
