### Job overview

The postholder will provide administrative and coordination support to the Corporate Governance team. They will help ensure that governance processes run smoothly and that information is accurate, timely and well‑presented. This includes supporting Board and Committee activities, maintaining governance calendars, monitoring the governance mailbox, and raising purchase orders for the team.

### Experience

**Essential**

- Experience supporting meetings or preparing documentation.
- Experience supporting Board or Committee administration.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
- Experience managing shared inboxes or monitoring mailboxes.

**Desirable**

- Experience maintaining statutory registers.
- Experience raising Purchase Orders or willingness to learn quickly.
- Experience in NHS or public‑sector administration.

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Degree or equivalent experience.

**Desirable**

- Training or qualification in administration, governance, business support or related areas.
- Governance qualification or relevant professional development.

### Skills & Knowledge

**Essential**

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident using digital systems, including shared drives and file management tools.

### Personal Qualities, Abilities and Attributes

**Essential**

- Ability to travel to Trust sites if required.
