We are particularly keen to hear from candidates with an interest in asthma, COPD, EBUS and/or Bronchiectasis. Other interests that compliment those of the existing consultants would also be welcome.     The trust is highly regarded for the under and post graduate education it provides and has a state-of-the-art Simulation Suite. Facilities for flexible bronchoscopy and full lung function exist at both acute sites; interventional bronchoscopies and pleural procedures are performed at Eastbourne. We have a tertiary level sleep service and home ventilation service based at Conquest Hospital and excellent thoracic surgery service support based at Guys Hospital. ### Main duties of the job Respiratory Ward cover; outpatient clinic's for routine, urgent and suspected lung cancer; advise and guidance to primary care; pleural procedures; EBUS, Bronch and other Thoracic interventional diagnostic procedures; GIM on-call cover. ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities Please see the Job Description and Person Specification attached.
