We would welcome applications from candidates across the full spectrum of experience, from those who have recently completed training to those who have well-established careers. Any candidate who is unable for personal reasons to work full-time will be eligible to be considered for the post; if such a person is appointed, modification of the job content will be discussed on a personal basis with the Trust in consultation with consultant colleagues. ### Main duties of the job The appointee will, together with Consultant colleagues, be responsible for the provision of clinical oversight, ARSAC and reporting services to Nuclear Medicine and PET for STH, CRH, SCH and external sites including the University of Sheffield owned PET-MR and the PET-CT service run by Alliance Medical Ltd at the Sheffield PET Centre. In addition, the successful candidate will be required to contribute to the general radiology workload at STH. The successful candidate will work flexibly and co-operatively with other members of the team in order to provide a high quality, comprehensive service within this teaching hospital environment. Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust promotes Equality of opportunity and Diversity within the workplace. ## Person Specification ### Research **Essential** - Ability to critically assess published research and incorporate it into clinical practice where appropriate. **Desirable** - Publications in Peer reviewed journals. ### Qualifications **Essential** - Full registration (with a licence to practise) with the General Medical Council (GMC). - Name on the specialist register for radiology specialty or eligible within 6 months of the date of the interview.
