We are currently recruiting for a Consultant Radiologist to join us in a team committed to delivering the highest quality imaging service for our patients.

## Person Specification

### Teaching

**Essential**

- Contribution to teaching essential radiology to radiographers and junior medical staff

**Desirable**

- Experience of mentoring Medical Staf

### Experience

**Essential**

- Wide experience in General/Clinical Radiology is expected
- Familiar with current National Guidelines
- Any subspecialty is welcome
- Adequate IT skills are expected

**Desirable**

- Competence in basic non-vascular interventions
- MSK, Gynae, ENT interest

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Medical qualification
- Full GMC Registration
- Specialist Registration/ FRCR or equivalent or imminent inclusion on the General Medical Council’s Specialist Register

### Management Ability

**Essential**

- Ability to manage own workload and contribute to departmental reporting.
- Ability to share workload and resources equitably

**Desirable**

- Preparedness to participate in medical administration / management activities

### Personal Attributes

**Essential**

- Demonstrates trustworthiness and a strong work ethic
- Effective team player, including within multidisciplinary teams and clinical networks
- Strong communication skills
- Committed to honesty, reliability, and collaborative teamwork
