They would join a team of Consultant Radiologists to provide high quality diagnostic imaging service across Gateshead and contribute to our Gynaecological imaging service. The focus is very much on teamwork, and we pride ourselves on the quality services we deliver. We have a full complement of radiographers, sonographers and nurses who work alongside the consultant team. Our strategy is one of growth and development both of our team in terms of new roles and advanced practice and in new scanners to support the latest techniques. The appointee will have relevant general cross-sectional imaging experience to face the challenges of the post, which should include sub specialist training in Gynaecological  imaging. They will be a resilient, a team player who wishes to join a department that is cohesive, friendly and hard-working. Applicants are required to hold the FRCR and have experience in working within the NHS. Based in the North East of England we provide a range of hospital and community health services from our leading facilities, including the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Blaydon urgent care centre and Bensham Hospital, all within Gateshead. ### Main duties of the job The applicant will have general radiology and sub speciality Gynaecological imaging duties at Queen Elizabeth Hospital with the opportunity to work flexibly from home or at our Community Diagnostic Centre.
