The Recruitment and Retention Premium will be paid over a three‑year period as follows: £10,000 on taking up post £5,000 at the commencement of year 2 £5,000 at the commencement of year 3 This provides a total value of £20,000 over three years, subject to continued eligibility. In addition, the post is eligible for relocation expenses of up to £8,000, in line with Trust relocation policy and subject to eligibility criteria. Applicants wishing to claim relocation support must declare this at interview, as relocation support cannot be approved or applied retrospectively. Recruitment and Retention Premia and relocation expenses are non‑pensionable, subject to ongoing eligibility, and will be paid in accordance with Trust policies in place at the time of appointment. As a training and teaching Trust there are opportunities to teach postgraduate psychiatric and GP trainees and undergraduates from Birmingham and Grenada Universities and newly formed links with Aston Medical School. Applications are invited for a full time Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry based at Bushey Fields Hospital Dudley to join 2 existing Consultants. This existing post is within a well-established supportive service working both on the in-patient wards and in the community, having retained the Continuity of Care model. The Consultant will lead a team of other doctors; CPNs; Social Workers and Occupational Therapists, and together with the existing workforce cover the communities of Dudley, Stourbridge and Halesowen in the Black Country. We are also developing new models and methods of working which will include liaison to primary care within the MCP model, and have developed an Old Age Home Treatment Team. ### Applicant requirements You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
