This is a full-time permanent post. This post will play an active role in the delivery of the Plastic Surgery in General and Breast service for the Directorate. You will be providing direct input to patients; contribute to multi-disciplinary teams and participate in the delivery of General Plastic surgery, including skin cancer. You will be promoting high professional standards of clinical care for patients, both through direct patient care and by the maintenance of continuing professional development. ### Main duties of the job Applicants will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to improve Plastics Surgery and Burns services within Lancashire and South Cumbria. This will be in line with the 18 week referral to treatment and national cancer targets. The candidate should have a specialist interest, Breast and Microvascular reconstructions. Applicants will be expected to have a commitment to working a 7 day working week, with this being potentially required. The Directorate has  expanded its Skin Cancer service to include Moh’s Surgery. This post, we are asking for candidates with interest breast and microsurgical reconstructions.
