You will play a central role in shaping the future of Paediatric Weight Management care in Hywel Dda.  Together, you will provide compassionate, evidence‑based care to meet the needs of our local population. As part of the role, you will contribute to teaching and training, supporting medical students and junior staff, while also engaging in audit, research, and service development. The region is renowned for its stunning coastline, national parks, and vibrant communities, making it an ideal place to balance a fulfilling career with an exceptional quality of life. ### Main duties of the job - Provide and coordinate a comprehensive Weight Management service for Children and Young people, covering all aspects of clinical care, leadership, and associated management responsibilities. - Lead and support research activity within the Acute Paediatric service, ensuring alignment with the HDUHB Research and Development framework and informing future service delivery. - Develop the Paediatric Weight Management service through effective collaboration with other healthcare providers, external organisations, and agencies. - Provide professional leadership for Acute Paediatric teams, fostering a positive and productive working environment. - Work closely with clinical and professional colleagues to maintain the productivity and job satisfaction of Paediatric staff, which may include participating in staff appraisal processes.
