Based primarily at Peterborough City Hospital, you will become part of a dynamic and supportive consultant team delivering high-quality care to a diverse and growing population. The role offers the opportunity to develop your specialist interests while contributing to a busy general obstetrics and gynaecology service, with involvement in early pregnancy, emergency gynaecology and maternal medicine. If you are looking for a role that combines clinical excellence, leadership opportunities and the chance to shape and develop services within a growing Trust, we would love to hear from you. ### Main duties of the job As a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with an interest in Early Pregnancy and Maternal Medicine, you will provide high-quality, consultant-led care across obstetrics and gynaecology services, supporting women throughout their pregnancy and gynaecological journey. You will lead specialist early pregnancy services, contribute to maternal medicine pathways, and maintain a broad general obstetrics and gynaecology practice, including emergency and on-call care. The role includes opportunities to develop specialist interests, provide leadership within the department, and contribute to service improvement, clinical governance, teaching, training and research.
