The post will include scope to involved in the procurement of new equipment and the development of new services to benefit patients within the Tameside and Glossop locality. Situated just eight miles east of vibrant Manchester, and serving a dynamic population of approximately 250,000, our hospital offers the perfect blend of accessibility to central Manchester and the breath-taking Peak District. Our modern laboratory is fully computerised, with electronic connecting with wards and local GPs for requesting and delivering results. . All of our microbiology analysis is currently provided by the Manchester Foundation Trust via a service level agreement.
