We are seeking an experienced and motivated Consultant in Medical Oncology with a Breast subspecialty to join our dynamic and forward‑thinking team at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust, based primarily at Northwick Park Hospital. This is a substantive, full‑time post with 10 Programmed Activities (PAs); however, PAs are negotiable and can be discussed at the time of interview. The successful candidate will provide high‑quality, patient‑centred care across a range of oncology services, with a primary focus on breast cancer. They will also have the opportunity to develop a special interest within the breast tumour site and contribute to service development in line with Trust priorities. You will join a well‑established and collaborative department delivering outpatient chemotherapy, acute oncology and palliative care across multiple sites. This is an exciting opportunity for a consultant who is passionate about excellence in breast oncology, service development and delivering outstanding cancer care to a diverse population. ### Main duties of the job As Consultant in Medical Oncology (Breast), you will play a vital role in delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred cancer care across London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. Responsibilities include: ### 1. Breast Oncology & General Medical Oncology Duties - Provide specialist care for patients with breast cancer, including assessment, treatment planning and ongoing management. - Support the Acute Oncology Service (AOS), ensuring timely, high‑quality care for patients admitted with cancer‑related complications. - Collaborate effectively with CNS teams, chemotherapy nursing staff, and multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver coordinated care across all sites. - Review systemic anti‑cancer therapy (SACT) prescriptions, assess patients for treatment, and contribute to clinical trials activity. - Provide on‑site clinical support to the Chemotherapy Suite and Clinical Trials Unit when required. ### 2. Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) Participation - Actively participate in the weekly Breast MDT and other relevant tumour‑site meetings. - Work closely with surgical, radiology, pathology, and allied health colleagues to deliver seamless, evidence‑based cancer pathways. ### 3.
