### Main duties of the job

This post is because of the planned retirement of the existing post holder.

The LHC has an established, respected team of advanced clinical practitioners (ACPs) in Cardiology that support both the PPCI pathway but also elective activity in heart failure, arrythmia and ASCVD prevention and management.

The LHC works closely with the Lincolnshire Community Cardiology Service and supports innovative health technologies including Virtual Ward, multi-modality cardiac rehabilitation and is currently undertaking research in AI.

What we’re looking for…..

We are looking for a dynamic HCP to work closely with multi professional colleagues taking a lead on acute coronary syndromes and chest pain assessment. The successful candidate must have substantial experience in all the x4 pillars of advanced practice. A pertinent higher degree and prescribing. ### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Registered first level nurse or allied health professional able to prescribe
- Master’s degree qualification
- First degree
- Evidence of teaching, assessment and supervision skills
- Independent and supplementary prescriber
- Post Graduate History taking and Physical Assessment qualification (if not part of master’s degree)
- European Resuscitation Council Advanced Life Support Provider
- Capabilities completed to a minimum of an ST3 Registrar or national accreditation i.e. RCEM
- IRMER

**Desirable**

- Doctorate Degree
- Leadership qualification
- Post registration management and leadership course or evidence to demonstrate equivalent experience
- European Resuscitation Council Life Support Instructor
- Advanced Practice Digital Badge

### Previous Experience

**Essential**

- Extensive post masters clinical experience
- Advanced theoretical and practical knowledge within specialty
- Experience of conference presentation and publication
- Evidence of participation in audit and research
- Experience in multi-disciplinary team working
- Evidence of implementing and managing change
- Evidence of the development of policies and protocols
- Competencies completed to a minimum of an ST3 Registrar or national accreditation i.e. RCEM

### Specific requirements

- Computer literacy
- Ability to travel across the Trust and adapt to a flexible working pattern including weekends, nights and on calls
- Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure whilst delivering a high quality service

- In depth knowledge of specialty pathologies, investigations, interpretation of investigations and management
