Since 2023 we have been re-establishing a Respiratory Medicine service for the population of the Forth Valley that is modern, patient-focused and sustainable. Whilst developing existing services we have started new ones including a Virtual ward and cardiopulmonary exercise testing and will soon start a local sleep service. To this end we would welcome interest from an individual with experience in modernising existing patient pathways and developing new services, alongside an excellent team of allied health professionals. The successful candidate will be part of the acute general medical rota, provide in-reach to acute medicine for specialty cases and be supported in fostering a sub-speciality interest and growing as a consultant. Our hospital is situated in the heart of Scotland, nestled against the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, and close to vibrant towns that are richly endowed with excellent cultural and sporting facilities, offering good transport links to Edinburgh and Glasgow.
