## Job Content

### Job overview

The UHPNT Respiratory Department is a dynamic and welcoming team with a clear vision to provide the best care possible to our patients. We would encourage applicants with a pre-defined sub-specialty area of expertise and, in particular, those with an interest in COPD, complex pulmonary infection, interstitial lung disease, and/or pulmonary hypertension. We will, however, work with any successful candidate to develop a job plan that meets their needs and interests, whilst complementing the expertise of colleagues within the department and supporting the continued delivery of a high-quality service for our patients. Flexible and/or less than full time working, including job sharing, will be accommodated for any candidate(s) to whom this is important, with arrangements to be discussed and agreed on an individual basis.

### Main duties of the job

The employer is University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust, with the post description and responsibilities below being based on a whole-time appointment. The model job plan is based on a full-time appointment of 10 PAs. The average maximum weekly programmed activities for direct clinical care will not exceed 8.5 PA unless by prior mutual agreement.
