A motivated and enthusiastic colleague is required to join the current team of three Rehabilitation Consultants (across both Spinal and Neuro Rehabilitation), two Neurology Consultants and experienced MDT: applicants should have at least two years postgraduate training in specialist rehabilitation. ### Main duties of the job The specialist Neuro and Spinal Rehabilitation Units provide care for adults from a wide geographical area, including South and Mid Wales, and the postholder will be expected to provide two weekly outpatient clinics (Complex Disability and Traumatic Brain Injury) and support PDOC assessment with follow up. The postholder will also help to ensure consistent Rehab Medicine support to the Major Trauma Centre across the working week. Academic interests will be encouraged; research and teaching in collaboration with Cardiff University's School of Medicine will be expected. Applicants should either be on the Specialist Register in Rehabilitation Medicine or be within six months of their expected date of receipt of a CCT in Rehab Medicine at the time of interview. You will be able to take advantage of the excellent Consultant contract for Wales.
