The burns and plastic surgery services at MFT provide secondary and tertiary level care to Greater Manchester’s population of over 2.5 million. The successful applicant will be encouraged to engage in ongoing service transformation in the skin cancer service, particularly supporting the development of a Skin Cancer and Mohs Surgery Hub. These will include skin cancer outpatient clinics and elective surgery lists, general anaesthetic or WALANT hand trauma lists, and clinics and theatre lists at Rochdale and Oldham (with PA allocation for travel time). The remainder of the 10 sessions will be attributed to direct clinical care (out of hours work, ward rounds and patient related administration), and supporting professional activities (SPAs).
