A key part of the role would be in contributing to the delivery of end of life improvement work and working collaboratively with stakeholders. The successful candidate will join a team of consultants in Palliative medicine supported by nurse specialists in both acute and community. There are opportunities to develop sub specialty interest where this contributes to and complements the department and Trusts’ service needs. There are undergraduate, postgraduate education and research opportunities available. There is no on-call commitment although this may change as services develop. The post is for 10PA however applicants wishing to work less than full-time will still be considered. Applicants are required to have full specialist registration in Palliative Medicine or be within 6 months of CCT/CESR. ### Main duties of the job This is a hospital based consultant role in palliative medicine.
