### Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is delighted to invite applications for two Consultant Paediatric Neurologist posts within our friendly, collaborative and expanding Department of Paediatric Neurosciences. The successful applicants will join a 1 in 7 hot week/on call rota, providing inpatient neurology cover on the paediatric neuroscience unit, consultations across Leeds Childrens Hospital specialties and regional support for hospitals across West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire and the Humber. Outpatient care is delivered both in Leeds and through regional outreach clinics as part of the Yorkshire Paediatric Neuroscience Network. Subspecialty Opportunities Epilepsy Specialist Post Applicants with epilepsy expertise will join a strong multidisciplinary team supported by: Weekly video telemetry Regular MDT meetings Epilepsy specialist nurses Paediatric neuropsychology The well-established Yorkshire Paediatric Epilepsy Network This environment offers excellent opportunities for clinical leadership, education and service development. Second Post Flexible Subspecialty Options For the second role, we welcome applicants with interests in: Movement disorders/complex motor disorders Intrathecal baclofen service delivery Inflammatory or cerebrovascular neurology Or other subspecialty areas that enhance our current service Our department is supported by specialist nurses and clinical specialist physiotherapists (e.g. within the intrathecal baclofen and botulinum toxin pathways), providing a strong platform for service expansion and innovation.
