We welcome enthusiastic candidates to apply for this new post which will be based at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital, Llantrisant where you will join the existing team of 4.2 consultant Diabetologists and Endocrinologists in addition to a wider multidisciplinary team. ### Main duties of the job Key duties include: Lead and develop the Weight Management Service, including: - Oversight of clinical pathways for Tier 3 weight Management - Collaboration with dietitians, psychologists, and physiotherapists - Clinical input into patient assessments and treatment Planning - Engagement in service improvement and audit activities Contribute to high-demand inpatient and outpatient diabetes and endocrine speciality activities alongside colleagues in the department Provide senior clinical decision-making during on-call cover Participate in annual job planning and appraisal.
