Participation in the joint ward round with the Antimicrobial Pharmacist and rounds on other specialist unit’s e.g. critical care, Neurosurgery, Orthopaedics, Surgery, Nephrology, will be agreed among the consultants according to personal interest & may rotate between the consultants with mutual agreement. Currently some of the ward rounds and MDTs are taking place through Microsoft Teams. ### Main duties of the job - Provide input where required to infection management of patients and contribute to Microbiology Multidisciplinary team meetings. - Participation in the joint ward round with the Antimicrobial Pharmacist and rounds on other specialist unit’s e.g. critical care, Neurosurgery, Orthopaedics, Surgery, will be agreed among the consultants according to personal interest & may rotate between the consultants with mutual agreement.
