NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

This hybrid post will be based at Glasgow Royal Infirmary (GRI) and the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital (QEUH). Duties of this post will include an acute assessment ward and on-call work at GRI and Hospital at Home sessions based in the South of Glasgow. This post will be an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of hospital at home services in Glasgow. On-call work will be based at GRI on a 1:16 weekday frequency and a 1:8 weekend frequency.

Applicants must have full GMC Registration with a licence to practice and be on the GMC Specialist Register for geriatric medicine (or within 6 months of CCT) or CESR awarded.
