The hospital sees over 32,000 patients a year. It has 330 inpatient beds with access to General medicine , cardiology , respiratory, neurology , gastroenterology, Obs and Gyn, orthopaedics Paediatrics, General surgery and urology, ENT, ophthalmology and Dermatology. We are a Trauma Unit feeding into the Major Trauma Centre located in ERI. Successful candidates will be contracted for 40 hours per week; however, part time will also be considered for the right candidate and consists of Direct Clinical Care as well as SPA time. The current working pattern includes day, evening, and weekend shifts, and while there is no on call commitment as the team grows the aim is to include on call work. The department is staffed with an enthusiastic and progressive team.
