This is a hybrid position encompassing both day to day care of patients living with frailty within the Department of Medicine for Older People and Stroke as well as working within the Vascular Surgery Department. This role, one of the first of its kind in the UK, is modelled on the successful orthogeriatric approach but offers an even more collaborative and integrated working environment. The post holder will be a key member of the team involved in shared decision making and managing complex medical issues in vascular patients alongside the multidisciplinary team including vascular surgeons, anaesthetists, resident doctors, therapists and specialist nurses across the entire patient journey.
