This post is one of the 2 full-time substantive consultant posts for the CMHT-North West. Each Consultant is supported by 1.0 WTE Trainee (CT or GPST). The successful postholder would be expected to provide clinical supervision for the Trainee allocated to the post. The would be supported to apply for a Trainer’s status. The Team consists of: - x WTE Consultant Psychiatrists (including this post) - x WTE Junior Doctor (Core Trainees or GPSTs) - x WTE Team Manager - x WTE Senior Practitioners - x WTE Clinical Psychologist - x WTE Advance Clinical Practitioners (ACP) - X WTE Occupational Therapist - x WTE Registered Social Workers - x WTE Registered Mental Health Nurses - x WTE Support workers (STR) - x WTE Community Inclusion Service (CIS) Workers. - x WTE Admin Staff 1 x WTE Medical Secretary (shared) Access to Specialist Pharmacist at Park House, North Manchester General Hospital ### Main duties of the job General duties It is expected that all consultants will: - Manage, appraise and give professional supervision to junior medical staff as agreed between consultant colleagues and the associate medical director and in accordance with the Trust’s personnel policies and procedures.
