### Job overview

This role is for the consultant psychiatrist for Dulwich Community Health Centre for the longer term care and support of patients within this neighbourhood. The post holder will work with a consultant colleague (responsible for short term interventions), team leader and CSL to provide high quality, holistic, patient centred care

### Main duties of the job

The postholder will provide clinical leadership for the multidisciplinary team. They will work with the team manager to ensure responsive, excellent and safe care is provided that supports the whole healthcare system. The postholder will work with senior directorate staff to meet Trust objectives.

### Qualifications and training

**Essential**

- Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment Included on the GMC Specialist Register for General Adult Psychiatry OR within six months Approved clinician status
- Included on the GMC Specialist Register with a CCT in General Adult Psychiatry or within 6 months of eligibility
- Approved Clinician status AND Approved under S12 of the UK Mental Health Act (1983), or able to achieve these within 3 months of appointment
- Membership or Fellowship of the Royal College of Psychiatrists or equivalent qualification (in accordance with Royal College of Psychiatrists guidelines)

**Desirable**

- Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research, or management Membership or Fellowship of the Royal College of Psychiatrists or equivalent qualification (in accordance with Royal College of Psychiatrists guidelines) Experience in other relevant specialties such as in patient, liaison psychiatry, home treatment or addictions
- In good standing with GMC with respect to warning and conditions on practice
