Youll play a key role in delivering high-quality endoscopy services, supporting both NHS and private patients, and helping us continue to build an exceptional reputation for safe, patient-centred care. This is your chance to work in a centre of excellence where youll deliver diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy services, including upper and lower GI endoscopy, in a state-of-the-art, patient-focused environment. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week), but we are also open to part-time arrangements (2030 hours per week over 23 days) to support flexible working. Youll be joining a collaborative, forward-thinking environment where innovation and teamwork are at the heart of everything we do. ### Main duties of the job As our Consultant Gastroenterologist, you will: - Deliver diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures, including upper and lower GI work. - Conduct outpatient gastroenterology clinics, providing expert advice and continuity of care. - Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient pathways and clinical quality. - Maintain compliance with JAG standards and participate in ongoing clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiatives. - Contribute to the training and development of colleagues and the wider endoscopy team. - Participate in local and national endoscopy forums to help shape service delivery and excellence across the organisation. ### About us Were seeking a motivated and collaborative clinician who shares our commitment to quality, safety, and outstanding patient experience.
