### Consultant Chest and Cardiothoracic Radiologist

A great opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and committed Consultant Chest and Cardiothoracic Radiologist to join the Imaging Department at Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust .

The post holder will join a flexible and enthusiastic team in a forward thinking department who are committed to working as ‘One Team’ for the benefit of patients.

The post has become available as a result of service development and expansion of the service .The Imaging department at SASH has team of 24 substantive Consultant Radiologists and 4 Registrars.

The Department is well equipped with 5 CT Scanners , 2 MRI Scanners , Interventional Suite, SPECT CT , Ultrasound Rooms, DEXA, and General X-Ray Rooms across the acute East Surrey site, Redhill CDC and Crawley site.

There are opportunities for the successful candidates to work mainly at the East Surrey Hospital and support the Crawley Hospital site This role also requires close working relationships with the established cardiology Multi-Disciplinary Team where the ‘One Team’ approach is key.

Applicants must be on the specialist register or have a CCT date within 6 months of the interview date.

It is highly recommended that prospective candidates takes the opportunity to come and visit the departments at East Surrey and Crawley Hospitals. Surrey and Sussex NHS Trust is proud to announce it has recently been rated Outstanding by the CQC. The Trust also has a commitment to service development and improvement with the use of the SASH plus, Virginia Mason programme which all senior management and Consultants are encouraged to undertake.
