To contribute to our exciting future and become part of our team, apply today. ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities The key areas for the post-holder will include: - Contribute to the breast MDT and play an active part in the further modernisation and development of the service. - Play a major role in maintaining the 28 day, 31 day and 62 days targets for cancer patients and ensuring that other targets are met. - Assessment, care and treatment of patients presenting to the breast service. - Provision of clinical leadership in the delivery of a high quality breast service. - Providing teaching and training at undergraduate and postgraduate level. Achieved through team job planning and the Medical Job Planning Consistency Committee. ## Person Specification ### Experiance **Essential** - Full registration with GMC and a licence to practise - Entry on the GMC specialist register: (proposed CCT date must be within 6 months of interview if it has not already been awarded). - FRCS or equivalent ### Experience **Essential** - Sub-speciality training in breast surgery at level of the year 5 and 6 of the HST programme. - Experience in oncoplastic and reconstruction breast surgery- preferable - Sub-speciality training in breast surgery at level of the year 5 and 6 of the HST programme.
