We are seeking a dynamic consultant immunologist to join the Leeds Immunology & Allergy services at St Jamess University Hospital. The appointee will become a key member of a dedicated and highly experienced multidisciplinary team. The unit provides a specialised service to hospitals & GPs for the diagnosis & management of a range of rare primary immuno-deficiencies, provides a supra regional service for patients with systemic autoinflammatory disorders & the care for a large number of patients with various allergic diseases. The job is a full-time post comprising of ten programmed activities, with supervision of the Resident & Specialist doctors, Specialist nurses, Pharmacist & Physician Associate. Altogether the service serves a population of just over 3 million people. We also provide a supra regional service for patients with systemic autoinflammatory disorders. The service is divided into three key areas; primary immunodeficiency, allergy and autoinflammatory disorders. The successful candidate would join the other 3 substantive consultants in the team.
