### Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Compliance Team at The Dudley Group . The role will be working with the Compliance Manager and wider organisation to roll out and embed an effective framework that provides assurance relating to quality and safety standards across the Trust and ensures a state of readiness for unannounced CQC inspections. The successful candidate will need to have an enthusiasm for improvement and the ability to communicate confidently and effectively with a variety of health care professionals at all levels.

Please note that this is an opportunity to cover this role on an interim basis whilst a Group model for all Governance functions is being developed.  As a result, you may also be required to work with colleagues at SWBH as appropriate.  Whilst this is a full-time role, consideration may be given to applicants seeking part-time or job share.

### Main duties of the job

The post holder will support the preparation activities across the Trust for CQC inspections. They will work with the Compliance manager and wider Trust leads to deliver a programme of internal quality reviews and focus reviews to inform quality improvement activity. The post holder will play an important role in supporting  with the continued development of  CQC self-assessments and the process of gaining assurance to present to Trust quality committee and wider overseeing bodies. The role involves supporting the timely submission of evidence in response to CQC enquiries, chasing responses to enable a response within set time scales and facilitating engagement with CQC.  The post holder will need to have good communication skills and will be required to write and present comprehensive reports on compliance reviews for Divisional Governance Meetings.

### Experience

**Essential**

- Experience of working in a field of quality/governance

### Knowledge and training

**Essential**

- Knowledge of achieving compliance with CQC regulatory framework
- Knowledge of the components of governance, risk management and assurance function

### Qualifications & Education

**Essential**

- Degree level education or equivalent experience

### Communication & Relationship Skills

**Essential**

- Ability to collate, analyses and triangulate qualitative information for presentation and report writing
- Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a range of professionals
