This is an exciting post within a developing organisation, providing the chance to influence service delivery, improve patient experience and support innovative approaches to paediatric asthma care across the region. ### Main duties of the job - The complex Asthma and Respiratory  Clinical Nurse Specialist is responsible for delivering and developing specialist asthma services for children and young people, ensuring care aligns with national guidelines and standards. - The role involves autonomous management of a specialist caseload, including children with complex, severe or high-risk asthma. - The post holder undertakes advanced clinical assessments, develops personalised management plans, and coordinates care across acute, community and primary care settings. - A key aspect of the role is improving outcomes and reducing variation in asthma care, particularly for underserved and high-risk populations.
