Are you an exceptional individual with a track record of change management & a passion for working with one of the most diverse groups  of service users there is?  A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for the right person to join our service for 12 months providing cover during  maternity leave. The liaison & diversion service helps people  suspected of committing a crime to access health & social support in order to tackle factors that might be driving criminal behaviour. We provide a triage assessment of needs & arrange referrals into services (diversion), liaise with existing services and help the police, courts and other criminal justice agencies to deliver safe, effective and efficient criminal justice processes and outcomes.    This improves the lives of vulnerable people, many of whom are disengaged from health and social care.  By giving these people a helping hand we hope to reduce crime and make safer communities.
