Start date August 2026 **Please note this post is to work across both teams, Windermere & Ambleside District Nurses and Grange District Nurses** You will demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for holistic patient centred delivery of care within the community, with a focus on personal and professional development.  You will work as part of a dynamic team who give equal importance to staff health and wellbeing, in addition to providing high standard care to our community.  The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop a wide range of clinical skills and knowledge relating to the increasing complexity of care delivered within the community, including wound, pressure ulcer and end of life care. ### Main duties of the job The role requires excellent communication skills as you will be undertaking complex nursing assessments and developing and delivering programmes of care for patients and carers. The district nurses work a 24hr service and there is an expectation that you may be required to support this to ensure service delivery. You will need to work collaboratively with other professionals, voluntary sector and informal carers to promote excellent care to patients in their own homes and community setting. You will be joining an enthusiastic and motivated team who are friendly and approachable. We are very patient focused and staff development is high on our agenda.
