We are looking for a Community Public Health Nurse to join our 5-19 Child and Young Person Public Health Service, working within the Healthy Child Programme offer in schools. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment while making a real impact on the lives of children and young people alongside a team of school health nurses. A full training package will be provided, as will opportunities to develop your career and skillset further. We are able to offer this part time, term time role, with a complete training package and a preceptorship programme. ### Main duties of the job As a Community Public Health Nurse, you will: - Support children and families across a variety of settings, particularly schools. - Work closely with primary and secondary schools, delivering public health initiatives on emotional wellbeing, sexual health, safeguarding, and managing medical conditions. - Undertake Healthy Child Programme assessments and contribute to health promotion activities. - Work in partnership with families, schools, and agencies to improve health outcomes. ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities We hope that the advert has given you a clear understanding of the skills we are seeking and the opportunity at hand.
