Do you have a track record of providing inspirational leadership and service delivery?  NSFT are recruiting an Operational Manager across our Children, Family and Young People (CFYP) and Older Adult Community services in West Norfolk.

Our Future Leadership Structure sees our clinical teams working more closely with partners at place level alongside strengthening clinical and professional leadership. We are developing a clinical transformation programme alongside our partners to enhance the clinical outcomes our service users experience as well as continuing to improve experience of care.

### Main duties of the job

As an Operational Manager, you will work closely with the Locality Leadership Team and the service matrons to ensure that  high quality care is delivered within your services and will provide professional leadership to the Locality workforce.

You will promote a culture of learning and openness and ensure staff have the knowledge, capability, systems and support to deliver evidence based care and embed lessons learned in practice for the improvement of patient experience.

We are determined to create a safer, kinder and better organisation.

The post holder will be expected to fully support with the strategic and operational planning and delivery for their designated specialist service area(s) within the locality and to be responsible for the effective day-to-day operational issues arising within the service. They will lead the services using engagement and communication skills to ensure that NSFT is truly embodying the Trust Values.

## Person Specification

### Experience

**Essential**

- Significant experience working within and Managing clinical services
- Significant general and operational management experience to include the management of a large multi-disciplinary group of staff – part of which to have been in the NHS

**Desirable**

- Working in mental health

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Education to degree level or evidence of sound intellectual ability and ongoing personal development at senior management level
- Recognised postgraduate management qualification or equivalent experience.

**Desirable**

- Masters level education or demonstrable equivalent experience
