An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Band 5 Community Nurse to join the Formartine Community Nursing Team.

Based at Oldmeldrum, the successful candidate will work flexibly across the Formartine locality in line with service needs, delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing care within the Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care Partnership.

This rewarding role offers the opportunity to manage a defined caseload and deliver skilled nursing care to patients within their own homes. Working both independently and as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in promoting independence, preventing unnecessary hospital admission and supporting patients to remain at home whenever possible.

We are looking for a nurse with excellent clinical, communication and organisational skills who is able to prioritise workload effectively and work confidently as a lone practitioner. You should be motivated, adaptable and committed to delivering safe, effective and compassionate care in a community setting.

The successful candidate will be supported by an experienced team of Community Nurses, Senior Community Nurses and District Nurses, with opportunities to develop a broad range of clinical and professional skills.

Experience of using clinical IT systems, including MORSE, EMIS and VISION, is desirable, together with accurate electronic record keeping and a commitment to maintaining high standards of documentation.
