### Job overview

Due to MAT leave there is an exciting opportunity to join the Bury Town Integrated Neighbourhood Team.  If you love meeting new people and working with a range of specialities the INTs are the place for you!

The successful applicant/s will join a friendly team of community nurses, community matrons, therapists, INT coordinators and local administrators, supported fully by a Team Manager, and Localities Lead.

Please note that this is a fixed term contract supporting maternity leave for 12 months.  If you're after a chance to try something different please do apply, training will be provided in required areas and with a willingness to support flexible working arrangements to make work work for you we're really keen to here from you!

You will be providing nursing services to patients in the community and will have the chance to work in an autonomous manner with the support of the wider multi-disciplinary team.

You will be assessing the patients by carrying out home visits and planning and implementing a patient’s individualised care plan.

### Main duties of the job

Within the INT localities you will be using a wide range of community nursing skills and will need to be confident in your assessment skills and in your ability to provide safe, effective treatments whilst working in a community setting. Experience of palliative care, wound management and catheter management would be an advantage.

This will be the perfect opportunity if you would like a role where you can use a wide range of nursing skills, or learn new skills specific to providing clinical care to people in their own homes.

You are able to work independently, but also with the support of a close-knit team, who are hugely experienced and supportive.

You have the privilege of working with patients in their own home environment to improve their health, alongside teams such as Virtual Ward and our Early Intervention Team (EIT).

The role suits both newly qualified as well as experienced nurses.

You will be able to develop your role in accordance with areas of clinical interest and to progress in your career, with expert training and education available to support this.

We operate a 7-day service with our current core hours being 8am to 6pm.

Access to your own vehicle is required and travel across the locality is part of daily working.

- Leg Ulcer Management
- IV Administration /cannulation
- ENB 998/mentorship preparation or equivalent
- Mentorship qualification is essential for the post, but not essential at interview.
- Previous experience working in the community

- RN Qualification (Part 1 of register) or equivalent.
- Current or pending NMC registration
