An exciting opportunity has arisen for a compassionate and motivated Community Mental Health Support Worker to join the Sutherland Integrated Health and Social Care Team, based at Sinclair Court, Melvich

This rewarding role involves supporting individuals experiencing mental health difficulties within their own homes and local communities across North Sutherland. You will work closely with Community Mental Health Nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred, recovery-focused care, helping individuals to maintain independence, improve wellbeing and engage with services.

The post holder will provide practical and emotional support, assisting with care plans, promoting self-management and supporting early intervention to prevent deterioration and reduce the need for more intensive services.

The post holder will also support the service with any administrative tasks as appropriate.

You will need to demonstrate strong communication skills, empathy and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a community setting.

A full driving licence is essential, and access to a vehicle for work purposes may be required.
