An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered Mental Health Nurse to work within the MAKI Community Mental Health Service based in Campbeltown.

You will have close links with the wider multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidate will be motivated to have a positive impact on our patient’s lives whilst demonstrating an ability and aptitude to work effectively as both an individual and as part of a team.

You should possess sound clinical knowledge and be able to demonstrate a wide range of clinical skills - including the ability to offer psychosocial and clinical interventions and deliver safe, effective care to a diverse client population. You will be required to carry out assessments, develop and implement treatment plans with a focus on strengths based recovery. You will be required to work dynamically whilst managing risk. Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to partnership working along with current knowledge of best practice in Mental Health Nursing are essential.

Candidates must be self-motivated and possess excellent organisational, communication and problem solving skills.
