This is a one-year fixed term contract focused on supporting our colleagues and residents at Phase One Hostel in Brighton. ### Main duties of the job Based in East Brighton Community Mental Health Centre, MHHT is a small multi-disciplinary specialist team providing assessment, treatment and support to homeless or insecurely housed people who have a severe and enduring mental illness and who may have additional substance misuse problems. You will conduct complex assessments and risk assessments in a variety of settings and manage a complex caseload as a lead practitioner. Phase One is a mixed gender 52 bed high support hostel for single homeless people with complex support needs. The service works with clients who are vulnerable with chaotic lifestyles to increase self-esteem and create a space where they can begin to address the issues at the root cause of their homelessness, make the changes necessary to lead more settled lives, and realise their aspirations and goals.
