We are seeking a Facilities Supervisor to join our Facilities Team supervising our Caerphilly Clinics. This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of vital facilities services across community healthcare settings, ensuring patients, staff and visitors benefit from safe, clean and welcoming environments. The working hours are 17:00 - 20:00 Monday to Friday. ### Main duties of the job As a Facilities Supervisor, you will lead and support a team of facilities staff, ensuring services are delivered effectively and safely across a range of community sites. You will oversee day-to-day facilities operations, including cleaning, catering, portering and other support services, ensuring compliance with NHS Wales standards and Health Board policies. Working closely with clinical and operational colleagues, you will help maintain high standards of cleanliness, infection prevention and control, health and safety, and service quality. You will also play a key role in staff supervision, training, performance management and service improvement. ### Main Responsibilities - Supervise and support facilities staff across community healthcare locations. - Monitor service quality and ensure standards are consistently achieved. - Conduct regular site visits and work closely with clinical teams. - Promote a culture of safety, quality and excellent customer service. - Manage staff performance, attendance, training and development. - Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH, Food Hygiene and Infection Prevention requirements. - Monitor stock levels, equipment and resources to ensure effective service delivery. - Respond to service issues and implement solutions in a timely manner. ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities You will be able to find a full Job description and Person Specification attached within the supporting documents or please click “Apply now” to view in Trac. ### Applicant requirements The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
